Albina F. Hinojosa

Albina F. Hinojosa, with family by her side, went to her heavenly home on July 30, 2024 at the age of 85. She was born February 5, 1939 in El Campo to the late Antonio and Dominga Hernandez Falcon. Albina was a loving wife and mother as well as grandmother. She was an avid Astro’s fan. Her hobbies were dancing, gambling and bingo. She married Santiago P. Hinojosa on January 17, 1962, they had 64 years together before his passing on December 20, 2020.

Albina is survived by her children, Victoria Lopez and husband David, Jolynn Ochoa and husband Rene, Abby Vela and husband Gilbert; daughter-in-law, Terry Hinojosa;11 Grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and numerous brothers and sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Santiago Hinojosa; son, James Hinojosa; grandsons, Mark R. Gaona, Noel Gaona, Jr.; great grandson, Marquis Gaona; 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Visitation will be from 5 until 6 PM, Monday, August 5, 2024 at Wheeler Funeral Home followed by rosary beginning at 6 pm. Graveside service will be 10 am, Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Holy Cross Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers will be Manny Richard Gaona, Chris Paschall, Jordan Paul Cadriel, Mark Dante Welcome, Jr., Davion Lamont Miller, Brice Devon Soto. Honorary pallbearers will be Aidan Eide, Christopher M. Gaona, Shaun Michael Paschall, Cody Hinojosa, Brenon Avery Soto and Rene Ochoa, Jr.
