Angel Rodriguez

Angel Cantero Rodriguez passed away April 19, 2022. He was born September 30, 1965 in Mexico to the late Angel Cantero Salazar and Maria De Jesus Rodriguez. He worked for 24 years for Ronnie Wind on the farm in Danevang. He liked to fish and in his younger days enjoyed a good rabbit hunt. He enjoyed playing the lotto and scratch-offs, always in search of the big win!!!

Angel is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Cisneros (Jose), Teresa Cantero (Jose Torres) all of El Campo, brothers, Florencio Cantero, Celestino Cantero; sisters, Florina Guevara, Raquel Cantero, Maria Cantero, Martha Cantero and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Filemon Cantero and sister, Teresa Cantero.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Wheeler Funeral Home with rosary being recited at 6:00 pm. Funeral mass will be at 1 pm on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at St. Robert's Catholic Church with burial to follow at La Colonia Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jose Cisneros, Jose Torres, Sergio Pedraza, Gasper Vargas, Felix Vargas and Celestino Cantero.
