Bobby Pruett, Sr.

Bobby "Beavis" Ray Pruett, Sr. of El Campo passed away November 5, 2019 in El Campo at the age of 85. He was born December 21, 1933 in Rosebud, Texas to the late Dewey Grant and Jessie Ann Wells Pruett.

He is survived by his children, Bobby Pruett, Jr., Jimmy Pruett, Michael Pruett, Anthony Zaruba, Timmy Zaruba, Ernie Zaruba, Walter Volek, Linda Ruckle, Clara Schulze, Cheryl Rehman and Machell Arrambide, Wayne and Emily Zaruba; 18 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Ella Zaruba; brothers, Robert Pruett, Henry Pruett; daughters, Deliah Rohde and Cindy Zaruba.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm Thursday at Wheeler Funeral Home with funeral service beginning at 3:00 pm. Bobby will then be taken to Cook Gerngross Green Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud for a funeral service at 11 am on Saturday, November 9, 2019. Burial will follow at Powers Chapel Cemetery.
