Cayetano Balderas Garcia

Cayetano Balderas Garcia, age 55, gained his angels wings February 21, 2021 in Houston. Cayetano was born August 7, 1965 in Mexico to Ismael and Isidra Garcia Balderas. Cayetano had deep devotion for God and was the pillar of his family. He taught CCD at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Wharton. He very much enjoyed carpentry and making wood items. He was a great man that will be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Delsa Julia Balderas; sons, Isades A. Valles, Christopher Balderas Valles; brothers, Victorino Balderas, Odon Balderas, Honorio Balderas, Homero Balderas; sisters, Emelia Balderas, Brigida De La Rosa, Paz Balderas, Marcela Balderas, Ernestina Balderas, Teresita Balderas, Felicitas Balderas and Ana Maria Balderas. He was preceded in death by his father, Ismael Balderas; mother, Isidra Garcia; sister, Aurora Balderas.

Family will start receiving visitors at 5:00 pm at Wheeler Funeral Home. The rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm. Funeral mass will be at 2:00 pm Friday, February 26, 2021 at St. Robert’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at La Colonia Cemetery.
