Charlotte Blume, 62 of El Campo, went home to our Lord peacefully and surrounded by family on Tuesday, December 17, at a hospital in Victoria. She was born on January 24, 1962 at Nightingale Hospital in El Campo, Texas to James Edward Sedlock, Sr. & Irene Schimcek Sedlock.
Charlotte met the love of her life in September of 1982 at a turkey shoot that was being held at Joe Macek's Place just outside of Wharton, TX. For Robert, it was love at first sight! This was the beginning of their 41 yearlong wonderful journey together! The two were married on June 10, 1983 & Charlotte gave birth to their first child, a daughter, Charlotte Marie, that same year. Later they were blessed with two more daughters, Crystal & Chelsea, & their one & only son, Robert James (RJ). They were a close-knit family & Charlotte was the glue that held them together. Charlotte was a beautiful, amazing, sweet woman & gentle in nature. She had the patience of a saint. She was loving & hardworking & had a heart of gold. She spent several years working as a caretaker, paying close attention to the needs of others. She was a loving mother & wife & supported her family in every way she could. She always put her children first & wasn't afraid to speak her mind when guiding them through life's lessons. Charlotte always made everyone feel welcome in her home. She was an awesome "Gigi" to her grandchildren & loved spending time with them watching TV & playing games.
Charlotte enjoyed cooking, baking, taking walks on the beach, & working in her yard. She was always anxious to show off her beautiful flowers! She was a country girl at heart and had a passion for roosters and various farm animals. Her dogs were her pride & joy & she loved them unconditionally like they were her children.

Grateful Hearts, for Strength Unbound
In every step, a strength unbound,
A love eternal, forever found,
We appreciate you, strong woman, fair,
For every trial, your heart did bear.
Your courage and grace, a love so pure,
A foundation strong, our lives secure,
We're grateful for the lessons, the wisdom shared,
A strong woman's love, forever declared.
In the depths of our hearts, a love unbroken,
A token of appreciation, words unspoken,
For all you've done, and all you've been,
We cherish you now, and forever,
Amen.
