Daniel Lopez

Daniel Lopez of Nada passed away February 20, 2018 in Ganado at the age of 42. He was born October 7, 1975 in El Campo to Delfina Hernandez Lopez and Ruben Lopez, Jr.

He is survived by his parents Delfina and Ruben Lopez, Jr.; daughters, Christina Lopez of Eagle Lake, Danielle Lopez of Eagle Lake; brother, Ruben Lopez, III of Nada; sister, Lily McLain of El Campo. He was preceded in death by his brother Christopher Lopez in 1993; grandfather, Guillermo Hernandez; grandparents, Ruben Lopez, Sr.and Rosa Lopez.

Visitation begins 2 p.m. Monday, February 26 at Wheeler Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass begins 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 27 at St. Robert's Catholic Church with Rev. Robert Guerra officiating. Burial will follow at La Colonia Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Lopez, Authur Hampton, Robin McLain, Christian McLain, Willie Hernandez, Martin Campos, Ruben Acuna and John Contreras. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Acuna, Pete Acuna, Ernest Hernandez and Phillip Garza.
