Delores Torres

Delores Torres age 49 of El Campo passed away August 11, 2020. She was born September 24, 1970 in El Campo to the late Esteban and Dominga Garza Ortiz. Delores was a mom, wife, Momo, sister, aunt and most of all a friend. She was her family's rock and  was a wise, intelligent, emotionally strong and always helpful to others. She always liked to put others before herself. She had a big heart and loved her grandchildren so much.

She is survived by her husband, Roberto Torres, Sr.; her children, Rebecca, Erika and Roberto, Jr.; 6 grandchildren, Sophia, Dolores, Nicole, Hector, Mari, Kyleigh; her siblings, Sylvia, Jimmy, Robert, Bertha, Angie and Steve, Jr. as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son Santos Torres.

Family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 5 pm till 7 pm on Monday, August 17, 2020. Rosary will be recited at 9:30 am Tuesday at St. Robert's Catholic Church with Mass beginning at 10 am. Burial will follow at LaColonia Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Brian Rodriguez, Shira Bluntson, Leiha Hudlin, Adam Gonzales, Lazette Torres, Jessie Trevino and Leo Hudlin, Lupe Ortiz, Keondre Goodall.

Masks are required to comply with CDC  guidelines at the funeral home and at the church.
