Doris Bertling

Doris Harrington Bertling, age 95, of El Campo passed away September 18, 2018. She was born in Waco, Tx. April 14, 1923 to the late Willie Earl and Eva Pearl Penick Wolf.

She is survived by her daughter, Penny Hiltpold of El Campo; sons, Bo Bertling of Huntsville, Frank Bertling of San Antonio, Chris Bertling of Pearland; grandchildren, Carl Hiltpold, Rebecca Pfardrescher, Angie Bertling, Jordan Bertling, Jacob Bertling, Blake Bertling, Bradley Bertling, Nik Bertling, Jenna Bertling; great grandchildren, Carson, Jackson and Max Hiltpold, Tyler Roberts, Kate and Rhett Pfardrescher, Cole Bertling, Charlie Bertling, Olivia Bertling, Austyn Bertling and Walker Bertling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Amos Bertling; sisters, Lucille Pyle, Mildred Christian; brother, Earl Wolf.

Visitation will be from 5 till 7 pm Sunday at Wheeler Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Houston National Cemetery at 2 pm on Monday, September 23, 2018.
