Jimmy York

Jimmy E. York, age 92 of El Campo passed away October 22, 2022. Jimmy was born June 27, 1930 in Hope, Tx to the late George J. and Crescent Auers York.

Jimmy is survived by his son, Edward York and wife Theresa of El Campo; daughter, Betty Reck and husband David of Louise; 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Norma York; son, Ronnie York; his companion for over 20 years, Louise Reckaway.; brother, Richard York; sisters, Helen Novak and Ima Raska.

Visitation will be from 4 until 7 pm on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Wheeler Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2 pm, Thursday October 27, 2022 at Wheeler Funeral Home with burial to follow at Garden of Memories.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kenneth Hobbs, Dickie Hulsey, Clay Gonzalez, Collin Gonzalez, Andy Evans and Charles Layton. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren,
