Lupe G. Lopez., age 67, of El Campo passed away February 24, 2019 in Richmond. He was born April 10, 1951 in Wharton to the late Benito and Ysidra (Mamie) Gomez Lopez.

He is survived by his sons, Bennie Lopez and wife Sheila of Katy, Lupe Lopez, Jr. of Lake Jackson, Steve Lopez and wife Raychel of Richmond; brother, John Gomez and wife Maria of El Campo; sisters, Josie Lopez of El Campo, Alice Villarreal and husband Reynaldo of El Campo, Sarah Gomez of Corpus Christi, Vera Balboa of Smithville; 5 grandchildren.

Visitation begins at 10:00 am, Thursday, February 28 at Wheeler Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 2:00 pm.

Burial will be at La Colonia Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Benjamen Lopez, Braeden Lopez, Brandon Lopez, Ben Acuna, Jr., Steve Lopez and Joseph Lopez.
