Ponciano Chapa, Sr.

Ponciano O. Chapa, Sr., age 71 of El Campo passed away September 25, 2017. He was born October 31, 1945 in Hebbronville, Tx. to the late Ponciano and Beatriz Guerra Chapa.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Chapa of El Campo; beloved pet, Princess Miranda; sons, Ponciano O. Chapa, Jr. of Hebbronville, Gabriel Garza of El Campo, Juan A. Chapa (Tara) of Portland, Jose A. Chapa (Jennifer) of San Marcos, Ramiro Garza (Cynthia) of El Campo; daughters, Leticia Salinas of Hebbronville, LoWanda Moreno (Able) of Pearland, Levina Garza (Frank) of Calallen, Sandra Garza of Freer, Angel Yvanez of Freer, Lisa Nevarez (Felipe) Hebbronville; brother, Ovidio Chapa (Laura) of Hebbronville, sister, Olga Zepeda (Able) of Corpus Christi; sister-in-law, Nora Chapa of Hebbronville; 24 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, brother, Rolando Chapa and grandson, Frank William Garza.

Memorial service will be 10 AM Saturday, Oct 7, at St. Roberts Catholic Church.

Memorial donations may be made to the family to be used toward medical expenses.
