Ramona passed away April 24, 2023 in Wharton at the age of 85. She was born August 31, 1937 to the late Jose and Maria DeLaSantos Zavala.
She is survived by her sons, Luis Leal (Veronica), Lucio Leal, Jr.; daughter, Lorena Serenil; husband, Lucio Leal, Sr.; brothers, Carlos Zavala, Juan Zavala, David Zavala; sisters, Maria Mendoza, Bobbie Hernandez, Antonio Zavala, 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Francisco, Lupe and Jose Zavala; son, Jose Leal and grandson, Arthur Leal.
Visitation begins at 5 pm Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Wheeler Funeral Home with Prayer Service beginning at 7 pm. Funeral mass will be 10 am Friday, April 28, 2023 at St. Robert's Catholic Church.
