Rogerio "Roy" Delgado

A man of few words but a heart full of immeasurable love,

Rogerio "Roy" Delgado left his earthly body on January 27, 2025, surrounded by his family. Roy was born to Claro and Augustina Delgado on February 22, 1935. Roy was a backhoe operator, by trade, but working outdoors on his property was his passion. When stopping by for a visit, one could find him outside on the tractor, tending to the cattle or if you happen to catch him inside, It was first thing in the morning while he was making a hot cup of coffee to start his day or in the evenings after a long day on the farm relaxing in his "faithful" recliner, watching Westerns or bull riding, another one of his favorite past times. His family was what mattered the most to him, and no matter how he felt, he was always eager to help, in any way he could. Even as his spirit was departing, he made it a point to tell all that he held dear, to take care of themselves and each other and to never lose faith in the Lord. Roy accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior, and one could often hear him praying for those he loved dearly. Roy was proceeded in death by his wife of 66 years, Elidia Delgado, numerous brothers and sister, and his son-in-law James Adams. Anxiously waiting until they reunite in the Kingdom of Heaven with their daddy, Roy leaves behind 5 children. Jesse Fuentes and spouse Isabel, Ruben Delgado and spouse Yolanda, Albert Delgado and spouse Rita, Neyda Adams and Ida Moreno and spouse Darryl. Along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 1 until 2 pm on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Wheeler Funeral Home. Pastor's Jessie and Isabel Fuentes will conduct a Memorial Service starting at 2 pm.
